Description
Warkworth bridge is a medieval stone bridge at the edge of Warkworth Village in Northumberland. The bridge crosses the river Coquet and is now only open to foot traffic. The bridge was built in circa 1379 with money left by a John Cook of Newcastle, who died in 1379, and left the sum of 20 marks towards the building of the bridge.
